The Irvine Incubation Center serves Innovative Companies of all kinds. Think-Ups, Start-Ups, Scale-Ups, Ramp-Ups, Corporate Skunk-Works are all welcome. Any Bio-Medical, Med-Tech, InfoTech, Telecom or Digital Media (or even low tech) business can benefit from becoming a Participant at the I2C.
Offering both Residential and As Needed programs, the Irvine Incubation Center’s objectives are to “Lower Barriers and Increase Speed” in getting innovative companies to their next level of development.
The I2C offers Business Development and Product Planning Programs along with Free Clinics for Legal and Financial/CPA Business issues. Free One-On-One Consulting is provided by the resident SBA office of TriTech SBDC.
Typically, I2C Participants are in their 1st or 2nd Stage of Development. However, several major corporations are looking to the I2C to support their internal growth plans and business diversification needs. Established Corporations can set up a dedicated “skunks-works” team to address special opportunities.
Affiliated with the University of California, Irvine, and the Irvine Chamber of Commerce, the Irvine Incubation Center is ideally located near the UCI campus across the street from the Beckman Center. The I2C is a Non-Profit devoted to economic development.
